---

Cinema has been around for over a century, which means there are thousands of magnificent masterpieces that elevate the mind and soul, and also that the art form is just getting started. In a world of infinite content, often dominated by blockbuster superficiality, Movies and Meaning helps you find the best films to watch, talk about, and be inspired by. We recommend three movies each week - one for the multiplex, one at the art house, and one to watch at home.

How to Host a Movies & Meaning Community Screening

1: Set a date during the relevant month for your screening—and let us know. We’ll send you questions and suggestions for the specified film by the first of each month.

2: Rent or buy the movie on Blu-ray, DVD, or digital.

3: Invite your friends! (Screenings in private homes do not require a license.)

4: Press play!

5: Subscribe to the newsletter to receive suggestions for each film. We’ll host conversations on the Movies & Meaning Facebook page during the month and invite you to participate there too.
